Abstract

This paper presents the cross-correlations of infrared data obtained with a mosaic Michelson interferometer while balloon-borne at a float altitude of approximately 30 Km. The interferometer was packaged with a 4x4 mosaic focal plane to provide contiguous ground coverage over a 3.5x3.5 Km area. The cross-correlation statistics, reported here, are useful in regard to remote sensing offering insight into the earth/atmosphere behavior in various spectral bands.
