A Dither-free Multi-channel Any-point Bias Controller for DWDM Systems with Time Based Polling

Abstract

A dither-free, any-point multi-channel bias controller for three DWDM channels is demonstrated experimentally. The three different modulators are biased at distinct bias points simultaneously, using a single optical power sensing circuit for the modulator outputs.
