Abstract

Yb doped confined core optical fiber with NA 0.08; Yb³⁺ 2800ppm using MCVD-Chelate Delivery technique is reported. Different fabrication parameters are optimized to achieve a repeatable process with good uniformity along 30cm length of preform.
