Two-color femtosecond laser beam shaping with independent wavelength and spatial frequency tuning

Abstract

Two-color laser system with independent tunable generation of ring-shaped beams is demonstrated. The setup is based on a Ti:sapphire laser and acousto-optic filters for wavelength tuning and spatial domain laser beam shaping. The system can be used as a laser source for advanced atom traps.
