Abstract

The femtosecond equal-pulse correlation technique is used to study: (1) the intramolecular relaxation time of highly excited states of large organic molecules, (2) the ground state recovery dynamics of malachite green in water and ethylene glycol, and (3) the intraband relaxation dynamics of hot carriers in highly excited states of semiconductors and quantum well structures. The technique used and results obtained in these experiments are reviewed in this talk.
