All solid femtosecond oscillator-amplifier laser chain with 100 mJ per pulse

Abstract

We describe a femtosecond laser system relying entirely on Solid State technology, capable of delivering femtosecond optical pulses with an energy of 100 mJ per pulse at a repetition rate of 10 Hz (see figure).
