Abstract

Ultrafast dynamics at liquid interfaces are still obscure. Femtosecond time-resolved heterodyne-detected vibrational sum-frequency generation spectroscopy now enables us to investigate vibrational/photochemical dynamics at liquid interfaces with the same clarity as in solution-phase ultrafast spectroscopy.
