Abstract

We combine sub-cycle, mid-infrared spectroscopy and near-field microscopy to achieve a 10-nm spatial and 10-fs temporal resolution. Our novel system is used to spatially, temporally and spectrally resolve the femtosecond carrier-dynamics in photoexcited InAs nanowires.
