Abstract

The use of single-vision lenses to correct ametropias modifies the perception of the sizes of objects viewed. This modification, known as magnification, mainly takes two different forms: 1. The magnification of surrounding objects viewed by the wearer, which is referred to as Spectacle Magnification (SM). 2. The magnification of the wearer's eyes from the viewpoint of an observer, which is referred to as Eye Magnification (EM).
