Abstract

Thermally induced optical pass difference of the thin-disk laser with anisotropic Yb:KRE(WO4)2 crystal, which is promising broadband gain media, was calculated. The results show that the OPD is sufficiently small even at 9.6 kW/cm2 pumping.
