Folic Acid-based Detection of Rare Circulating Cancer Cells by Polyaniline Coated U-bent Optical Fiber

Abstract

Detection of circulating tumor cells requires highly sensitive sensor. Folic acid was immobilized on polyaniline coated u-bent optical fiber. Cancer cells attached to folic acid on fiber surface resulting high absorbance change at 580-600 nm.
