Granulometry and fractal analysis for the detection of pathological changes in retinal OCT images

Abstract

This study uses granulometry analysis combined with fractal analysis to compare normal and pathological retinal OCT images. The results revealed that pathological retinae studied here had lower complexity compared to normal retinas.
