Efficiently Calculating Extended Isoplanatic Angles Over Horizontal Paths

Abstract

We present closed-form expressions for low-order-aberration-removed, aperture-averaged anisoplanatic error across horizontal paths. These solutions are not only computationally inexpensive but easily invertible to numerically calculate extended isoplanatic angles in a given propagation scenario.
