Use of High Order Principal Components in NIR Spectroscopy

Abstract

The advantages and disadvantages of using high order principal components are considered. It is concluded that high order principal components can be very useful. Computational problems are highlighted. Some useful tools for the analysis of multivariate NIR spectroscopy data are presented.
