Abstract

This paper presents a brief description of the TPV-1M2 compact thermal viewer, with an improved image raster. An analysis is given of the raster created by the LED module of the thermal viewer with optomechanical scanning. The raster is improved by altering the topology of the LED module to provide overlap of the adjacent raster lines.© 2004 Optical Society of America
