Abstract

This paper proposes a new optical layout for a projection objective for projecting images formed by digital micromirror devices and liquid-crystal devices in projection information-display systems. The optical layout contains two aspheric lens elements. The optical characteristics and graphs of the residual aberrations are presented for the projection objective that has been calculated.
