Microviewers—the next generation of digital microscopes

Abstract

This paper presents the results of the development at OAO LOMO of the next generation of digital microscopes, known as microviewers. The technical characteristics of microviewers that use transmitted and reflected light are described. It is shown that the new devices are promising for laboratory analysis, scientific research, and education.
