In memoriam Mikhail Mikhaĭlovich Miroshnikov (9/3/1926–5/31/2020)

Abstract

S. I. Vavilov State Optical Institute AO, the Presidium of the D. S. Rozhdestvenski Optical Society, and the Editorial Council and Board of Opticheskiĭ Zhurnal announce with deep sorrow that the prominent Russian physicist and optical engineer, the great specialist in the area of informational optics and optoelectronic instrumentation, a prominent organizer of the optical industry of the USSR and Russia, Hero of Socialist Labor, recipient of the Lenin Prize, and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mikhail Mikhaĭlovich Miroshnikov, died on May 31, 2020 in his 94th year.
