Abstract
In the laser plasma laboratory of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences we are developing an automation system for the powerful Nd:glass laser installation Delphin designed for laser fusion experiments. This system contains power conditioning and alignment and laser parameter diagnostic subsystems. The automation system includes PDP-11-type computers connected by a serial highway with a CAMAC apparatus interfacing control points and drive units of the installation. A power conditioning subsystem controls the capacitor batteries for 700 flashlamps (IFP-20000 type) of the multichannel amplifier.
