Abstract

We numerically demonstrate recovery of message signal embedded in a chaotic carrier in microchip lasers. Message recovery requires that the signal frequency should be set at lower frequencies than the sustained relaxation oscillation frequency, where the difference of the gain between chaotic and periodic components is large.
