Radially polarized surface plasmon microscopy for sensitive detection of fluorescent nanospheres

Abstract

To get a higher sensitivity of surface plasmon microscopy, we report the technique of adopting a radial polarizer to enhance the TM-polarized light as well as an annular disc for modulated detection of plasmon absorption.
