Abstract
Recently the emission range of waveguide lasers fabricated by fs-laser writing was extended from the infrared to the visible region by employing Pr, Mg:SrAl12O19 as gain material [1]. Due to various transitions in the visible spectral range, Praseodymium allows laser operation from the deep red to the green spectral region [2] and is interesting for many applications, for example in display technology.
