Abstract

We demonstrate a large-area, widely tunable hybrid metasurface consisting of gold rods on back-gated CVD-grown graphene. Under moderate doping (0.35 eV), localized graphene plasmons are excited with record-high extinction rates (17%) across the mid-infrared regime.
