Measurements of Laser Generated Lamb Waves in a Transparent Plate

Abstract

Several material properties were measured using laser generated ultrasonic waves along with laser detection techniques.[1, 2] In particular, surface and Lamb waves were studied[3] and used for thickness mesurements and elastic constant determination.[4]
