Abstract
Plasmonic crystals show enhanced far-field Fresnel transmission coefficient typically of the order 0.11, which is believed to be mediated by a much larger near-field Fresnel transmission coefficient. How large this near-field Fresnel coefficient is, or, whether this can even exceed unity in plasmonic crystal are still unsolved questions. Theoretically, larger-than-unity near-field Fresnel transmission coefficient has been predicted for the tangential H-field2.
