Abstract
As described by Clark,1 we selected an ILDC design which, due to its large merit function, simple configuration, and not-too-wild aspherics, cried out to be built. That design is 009-SL-10-2A. However, in deference to our real-world optical shop and testing capability, we redesigned 009 for performance at λ = 633 nm, using readily available glass. As part of the process, we also tuned the design to GCA/Tropel test plates.
