Abstract
Since the report on the solid-state sensitized solar cell employing organolead iodide perovskite in 2012, researches on perovskite solar cell surged. As a result, a certified power conversion efficiency exceeding 20% was reported in 2014. The superb performance is related to the unusual properties of organolead iodide perovskite such as high dielectric constant, ferroelectric behavior, and balanced charge transport. In the POEM 2015 conference, current status and future perspective of perovskite solar cell will be presented and discussed, as well as recent progresses in our laboratory. In addition, device stability and chemical safety issues will be also discussed.
