Abstract
Manipulating energy structures is important yet challenging in organic semiconductors. Previously, we proposed the p-n energy band tuning strategy at the molecular level and proved its universality in organic semiconducting molecular designs. In this talk, I will present our recent progress in how to control the excited state properties in organic optoelectronics through extended strategies incorporating intermolecular and intramolecular interactions. Luminescent organic materials with ultra long excited state lifetimes, full color emission up-conversion materials and multi-stimuli smart responsive phosphorescent materials are achieved, which utilize not only the molecular structure design but also the molecule packing properties. Besides, I will also discuss the potential applications of these materials in data recording, security protection and three-dimensional displays.
