Optica Publishing Group congratulates Optica Fellows Pierre Agostini (Ohio State University), Ferenc Krausz (Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics) and Anne L'Huillier (Lund University) who have been awarded the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics for "experimental methods that generate attosecond pulses of light for the study of electron dynamics in matter." They join a distinguished list of Optica members and honorees who have been awarded a Nobel Prize in Physics, Chemistry, or Physiology/Medicine over the course of the Society's more than 100-year history.
