Proactive Performance Monitoring in Software Defined Networking

Abstract

To facilitate fast performance monitoring, proactive monitoring in Software Defined Networking is proposed and different monitoring strategies are discussed. The reduction of the acquisition time and the additional blocking probability induced are investigated.
