Coded and modulation of Coherent 800G per lambda DWDM transmission

Abstract

For 800G single-wavelength transmission, an appropriate modulation and coding scheme must be selected to achieve the expected SE and transmission performance. New modulation and coding technologies greatly increase the selection range of 800G. In this paper, the application of different modulation and coding techniques on 800G single-wavelength optical transmission systems is introduced to obtain the optimal modulation and coding techniques under different target SE definitions.
