Perturbation Theory Analysis of Time Resolved Optical Mammograms in-vivo

Abstract

A perturbation procedure is given to analyze time-domain optical mammograms by scanning a test sphere across the image of the entire female breast. Absorption and reduced scattering coefficients, total hemoglobin concentration and blood oxygen saturation of tumors and cysts are presented.
