Abstract

The “Super-ASHURA” KrF laser (8 kJ, 12 beams) is being developed to establish KrF laser driver technology and to conduct high power target irradiation experiments.1 A main amplifier, Amp 4, and an optical system for 12 beam multiplexing are being added to the currently operating ASHURA system (660 J, 6 beams).2
