The transient photoluminescence properties of bipyrrole derivatives

Abstract

An intense luminescence at 410 nm of bipyrrole derivatives with a quantum efficiency of 0.87 and a short lifetime of 0.64 ns is measured. The later is related to the interaction between the bipyrrole and the substituent phenyl.
