Cryptographic quantum communication schemes for two-party addresser authentication

Abstract

This paper proposes a cryptographic quantum communication scheme for two-party message authentication. By use of single-photon interference in a four-path optical interferometer, we can construct an authenticated communication protocol that prevents anyone from falsifying a transmitted message.
