Growth and second harmonic generation characteristics of La2CaB10O19 Crystal

Abstract

Single crystals of La2CaB10O19 (LCB) were grown by the pulling method. The second harmonic generation conversion efficiency of a picosecond Nd:YAG laser is 25% for a 3mm long LCB crystal and 6GW/cm2 pump intensity.
