Abstract

We investigate the implementation of enumerative sphere shaping (ESS) algorithm in real-time PS-64QAM system for the first time. Experiments achieved 0.08dB/0.02dB SNR gain under strong/weak shaping situation with much larger power consumption compared with HiDM.
