Pr:LaSc3(BO3)4 - a new active medium for lasers radiating in the vicinity of 0.647 μm

Abstract

The paper presents the results of preliminary investigations of spectral-luminescent properties of Pr:LaSc3(BO3)4 (Pr:LSB) crystal. Pr:LSB single crystals with different Pr concentrations were grown by Czochralski technique in iridium crucibles.
