Topological Flatband States in Corbino-shaped Decorated Honeycomb Lattices

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate photonic decorated honeycomb lattices that exhibit two singular flat bands, thereby observing two distinct robust boundary modes in finite-sized lattices in Corbino-geometry which manifest topological noncontractible loop states of an infinite system.
