Reaching the Ultimate Efficiency of Solar Energy Harvesting with a Nonreciprocal Multijunction Solar Cell

Abstract

We introduce a nonreciprocal multijunction solar cell that can reach the Landsberg limit with an infinite number of layers. With a finite number of layers, such a cell can outperform a standard reciprocal multijunction cell.
