Abstract

A high-sensitivity coherent receiver with reduced complexity and high frequency offset tolerance was numerically demonstrated using doubly differential QPSK (DDQPSK). The sensitivity for the 134-Gb/s coherent system transmission over 80-km SMF was below -27.5 dBm.
