Abstract

We demonstrate an ultra-compact bimodal interferometric plasmonic refractive index sensor co-integrated for the first time on a SU-8 photonic waveguide platform. After optimization process the proposed sensor exhibited an experimental sensitivity of 4464 nm/RIU.
