Tabletop extreme ultraviolet holography and coherent diffraction imaging

We demonstrate single-shot Fourier transform holography using a tabletop extreme ultraviolet laser. The threedimensional information is extracted by Fresnel propagation of the exit surface wave reconstruction and ‘refocusing’ different sample depths. In addition, simulations were performed to show the advantage of using a Fresnel zone plate for coherent diffraction imaging (CDI). More specifically, it shows that the high-spatial frequencies are reconstructed better compared to a plane-wave CDI experimental geometry. The experimental data was acquired with a tabletop capillary- discharge extreme ultraviolet laser which produced a highly coherent ~1.2 ns laser pulse with 46.9 nm wavelength.
