Four-wave mixing oscillators under bichromatic pumping for generation of bright nonclassical light

Abstract

We present a quantum analysis of four-wave mixing (FWM) oscillators under the pumping by two laser beams at different frequencies ω1, ω2. The configurations of oscillators with one- and three-intracavity mode excitation are considered. We find that these nonlinear systems are quite effective for generation of one-mode squeezed-light beams with non-zero mean-field amplitudes and with definite stationary phases. These squeezed-light beams also have rich non-classical properties related to the sub-shot-noise correlations.
