Frequency dependent collision-induced shift of Zeeman resonances in the 1s4 state of neon

Abstract

In an experiment involving a periodically kicked precessing alignment we find a pronounced and unprecedented shift of the observed resonances with respect to the positions expected from the Larmor frequency νL,. The shift depends on the magnitude of the magnetic field.
