Abstract
The Er:YAG crystals exhibit violct-UV fluorescence (23800 - 25300 cm–1) under pumping with the second harmonic of the Nd: YAG laser (532 nm). In order to understand the origin of this fluorescence systematic studies, function of Erbium concentration and pump intensity are performed. Three types of measurements were performed at room temperature upconversion fluorescence spectra, kinetics of the luminescence levels, and fluorescence intensity function of pump energy.
