Abstract

The atomic polarizabilities a by electromagnetic wave with frequency ω where studied in a numbers of theoretical and experimental works. Its asymptotic behavior in the frequency both for low and for high ω have been studied in details. The exact analytic expressions for the dipole polarlzablty in term of finite sums of hypergeometrlc functions have been obtained only for K and M shall of hydrogen. The method that allows the derivation of exact analytic expressions for dipole cross-section of arbitrary two-photon processes In arbitrary state of hydrogen atom in term one hypergeometrlc functions only was proposed in paper [1]. Using the Simons potential method one can generalized results of [1] to the case of complex atom.
