Abstract

The consecutive theoretical analysis of elementary processes in vibronic type dielectric crystals for finding - out of a laser generation basic opportunity in such crystal pumped by hard electron beams [1] for the first time is carried out. The elementary theory of such type of lasers is developed allowing to describe basic generation characteristics of laser electron - vibronic and recombination transitions pumped by as electron and combined (optical and electron -) methods. In theoretical model the basic processes are taken into account with interaction of electron - hole plasma, photons and phonons among themselves, and also with a lattice, ions of an doped luminescent centre M, ions of a type M +, pairs (M + M+), defects of Frenkel type and so on. On the basis of the mentioned above elementary theory the estimations of the basic generation characteristics of laser transitions in A12O3:Ti3+- crystal, pumped by a pulsed electron beam are carried out.
