Abstract

We report here the results of computer simulations on the coherent pulse propagation in the two-component medium Two-component medium consists of two species of the resonant atoms which differ in the value of the dipole moments of the resonant transitions (db> da). It is well known that the Raby frequency is proportional to the dipole matrix element of transition (Ω~d). HenceΩab and we shall call the "a" atoms as slow, and the "b" atoms as fast.
