Abstract
We consider a traveling-wave version of a ring-cavity noiseless amplifier of faint optical images, proposed by Kolobov and Lugiato in Ref. [1]. This modification is, on one hand, more realistic for practical implementations, on the other hand, has several advantages over the cavity-based scheme, such as greater spatial bandwidth.
